Dr. Hoftiezer and The Extra Smile team extends a warm welcome to you. Our goal is to provide each patient with outstanding service and treatment, from the initial office visit through every professional recare visit. Tim Hoftiezer, D.D.S. and Staff

Meet Dr. Hoftiezer

Raised in Indiana, Dr. Tim Hoftiezer is proud to be part of the Hoosier state and improving the dental health of its citizens.  Dr. Hoftiezer and his wife, Donna, have been married for 21 years and have three children (ages 18, 15, 13).

After graduating from Wabash College, Dr. Hoftiezer went onto Indiana University School of Dentistry, receiving a D.D.S. with honors. He holds many certificates in advance training, including orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and implant placement and restoring.

Dr. Hoftiezer is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, American Orthodontic Society, and the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics.

Away from the office, Dr. Hoftiezer enjoys spending time with family, reading, gardening, Colts football, IU basketball, and international soccer.

Business Coordinator

Grace

Grace worked as an expanded functions dental assistant for years after graduating from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2011. She joined Dr. Hoftiezer's team as BusinessCoordinator in 2017, where she strives to provide a welcoming and warm experience for each patient. Grace enjoys traveling, is a voracious reader, and loves spending time by the pool with her husband Colin and french bulldog, Stanley.
Hygienist

Cindy

Cindy has been a dental hygienist for 25 years. She graduated from USI with a bachelor of Science degree in Hygiene in 1992. Cindy has worked for Dr. Hoftiezer since 2015. She loves being a hygienist, and it shows in her work with her patients. She lives in Greenfield with her husband and enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and four grandchildren.
Dental Hygienist

Emily

Emily is a Dental Hygienist who graduated from Ivy Tech in 2021 with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene and has been with the practice since June 2021. She lives in Arcadia with her husband and two dogs and loves to go camping with her husband, read, and spend time with her younger siblings and nieces/nephews in her free time. Her favorite part of the job is getting to know her patients and being able to teach them how to achieve and maintain a healthy and happy smile.
Dental Assistant

Ciera

Ciera is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She attended Dental Office Training by Lynn in Fishers and has been with Dr. Hoftiezer since 2016. Ciera enjoys forming personal relationships with her patients and making them feel relaxed & comfortable at every visit. She lives in Arcadia with her husband and goldendoodle, Boomer. In her spare time Ciera enjoys summer concerts & going to the movies.
Dental Assistant

Heather

Heather is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant who graduated from Dental Office Training by Lynn. She lives in Lebanon on her family's farm. She loves spending time and traveling with her friends and family. She enjoys getting to know her patients and strives to make sure they receive the best care possible! She hopes to continue growing her skills as a dental assistant with The Extra Smile.
Business Assistant

Taylor

Taylor began her dental journey in 2013. She started with Dr Hoftiezer in early 2023. Her goal is to get to know the patients and to ensure a welcoming environment from the minute they walk in the door! Taylor lives in Brownsburg with her husband and two kids. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and reading.
